John is the founder and executive director of East Central Ministries (ECM), and Morgan is a part of the leadership team and manages the urban farm.  ECM's mission is to live out Jesus' values of justice and compassion with our neighbors in the International District of Albuquerque, New Mexico. ECM's work is community-based and includes health care, food cooperatives, urban farming, a thrift store, youth programs, an intentional housing cooperative, and intensive case management.

John and Morgan live in a vintage Airstream trailer in the neighborhood where they work.  They are grateful to live and work in a diverse and raw community, one that has much to teach them about life and God.  They also love to get out of city, and enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring the mountains and deserts of New Mexico!
